AgForce Young Member Network

Are you under 35, involved in agriculture, want to more informed and participate in the shaping of your industry? AgForce Future – Young Member Network is a Queensland based group of young people aged 15 to 35 who are passionate about their lives in agriculture and are involved in shaping the future of their industry. The Young Member Network is an initiative driven by young people to support youth in being more informed and involved in the future of agriculture.

AgForce Future exists to inspire, foster and support young member development within AgForce. The network upholds the philosophies, values and culture of AgForce and aims to operate with open communication, honesty, integrity and trust.

AgForce Future is building relationships with rural stakeholders to allow issues relevant to young people to be recognised and outcomes achieved. The Young Member Network’s involvement enhances the diverse profile of young members and promotes their growth in rural industry for a positive future.

Young members can access a range of benefits open to full members of AgForce while gaining skills and confidence to participate across all levels of the organisation. Young Member Network has key representation on AgForce State Council and Commodity Boards. Through young people gaining exposure at these levels within the organisation, AgForce is proactively putting into action a succession plan to ensure not only its survival, but its success in representing the interests of primary producers now and into the future.
